The Royal Canal Park Community Association and the Rathborne Community Association have joined forces in conjunction with the Royal Canal Amenity Group and the Inland Waterways Association of Ireland to host a Spring Fair at the Ashtown end of the Royal Canal and in the Crescent Park (next to the playground) on Saturday April 28th, 2012, from 12 noon until approximately 3pm. Opening ceremony with Blanchardstown Brass Band at 12 noon beside the Canal Bar. Boat trips commence 12.15 from pier at Canal Bar.
