Rathborne Community Association
We have been asked by Kevin Mullally, Parish Pastoral Worker in St. Brigids Parish, Blanchardstown to advise that ashes will be available from the Pastoral Cabin, Camden Court (at Royal Canal Park) on Ash Wednesday for those who would like some from 8am onwards
You may have seen that the hoarding in Rathborne Village has been partially removed today. This is due to an instruction by Dublin City Council to Castlethorn to "remove substandard hoarding and erect a secure steel fence." This is great news for the community as it will greatly improve the aesthetic of the Village area and the road to the rest of Rathborne. It will also improve safety in the area as it is long clear that such hoarding is an inappropriate border in high winds. We do not expect this site to be developed for several years so it was very important that a long term solution was found in keeping with other vacant sites.
The next Navan Road / Pelletstown Community Policing Forum meeting will take place in the Community Centre in Royal Canal Park, off Ratoath Road, on Thursday 13th March at 7.pm. If you have anything you would like submitted please let us know by Thursday 6th March 2014. A copy of the most recent minutes of the last meeting is available upon request at firstname.lastname@example.org
