A Royal Canal 'Love Your Canal' Litter Pick Group has been formed in conjunction with the Inland Waterways Assoication of Ireland (IWAI) and carries out litter picks the second Saturday of the month along the towpath from the 10th Lock at Ashtown to the 7th Lock at Broombridge.
The Rathborne Community Association is launching a feral cat control programme in conjunction with the management companies of Rathborne 1, 2, Laburnum Court, Laburnum Square and Pelletstown Manor, who have agreed to sponsor the cost of neutering. Rathborne No. 1 management company has generously donated €150 for the purchase of a trap (already bought) designed to humanely catch most cats.
Rathborne Community Association Win 1st Prize in DCC Central Area Dublin City Neighbourhoods Awards in the Urban Village Category
The Rathborne Community Association won 1st prize in the 2014 DCC Central Area Dublin City Neighbourhoods Awards in the Urban Village category. This was the first time that the RCA entered this competition so everyone concerned are really thrilled to win this award on behalf of the RCA.
Thanks to all our volunteers who have helped out with the plant watering over this hot spell it's much appreciated. I'm sure you will agree the flowers are all looking great!

The Rathborne Community Association would like to thank most sincerely Douglas & Kaldi, Bombay Pantry and Phoenix Dental for sponsoring flower beds in Rathborne Village. Their contributions are greatly appreciated. RCA volunteers have been busily planting, watering and maintaining 11 flower beds in the Village as part of our entry into the Dublin City Neighbourhood Awards.We would also like to thank our volunteers for all their hard work and residents who have been helping to water and maintain the flower beds.
Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to Luas Cross City works on Parnell Street from Monday 23rd June for approximately 3 months. Routes 40b, 40d and 120 will have a temporary change of terminus from Parnell Street to Parnell Square West.
Routes 40b, 40d and 120 from City Centre
Buses will no longer serve bus stops 6004 (PW) and 6071 (PV) on Parnell St. Instead Routes 40b and 40d will depart from bus stop 7 (PH) on Parnell Sq. West and Route 120 will depart from bus stop 3 (PD) on Parnell Sq. All routes will terminate at bus top 263 (PQ) on Parnell Sq. East.
